ScreenRoom Tips&Care
Superior quality assures bug-free outings and weather protection
The ScreenRoom is the latest innovative tent product from Paha Que' Wilderness Inc., the company that truly understands the quality level demanded by those who take the outdoors seriously, whether it's a family gathering in the park, a fishing trip by the river, or fully equipped campsite. Paha Que' insists on using the finest materials and components available. The new ScreenRoom is the result of this blend of design and production skills.
AWNING OPTIONS:
With the door open and all four awnings extended the front provides a wide-open feeling. Even with the "no-see-um" mesh back wall closed, there's still an outside feel. With the awnings rolled down, the ScreenRoom offers protection from high winds, rain, and even intense sunlight.
INSIDE-OUT APPEAL:
Opening either the front and/or rear doors, and extending any or all of the four built-in awnings, the ScreenRoom provides a wide open feeling. Even with the no-see-um mesh doors closed, there's still an outside feel.
BIG GUY'S WELCOME:
With a peak height of 8'-6" and side walls that are 6'-6", The ScreenRoom makes it comfortable for even very tall people to move around without crouching.
WIDE OPEN WHEN YOU WANT:
Opening both the front and back doors and extending the awnings create a maximum outdoor experience. And it's easy to close up when needed

RAIN FLY
Gives your screen room an extra layer of protection from rain. Made from 150D 4 oz. Oxford polyester which will not stretch when wet and resists UV damage.
SUN PROTECTION FACTOR:
With growing concern about skin cancers caused by excessive exposure to the sun, it's important to insist on the maximum SPF (sun protection factor) when buying sun shelters and ScreenRooms.
That's why Paha Que' Wilderness Inc. uses 150 Denier polyester oxford for their Cottonwood Shade Shelter and ScreenRooms. The fabric also has a fire-retardant and is coated with polyurethane waterproofing and UV inhibitor.
To verify their confidence in this fabric, Paha Que' submitted it to an independent laboratory (Intertek in Springfield, New Jersey) for a series of rigid tests. The results proved that the Shade Shelter blocks out 96.758% of UVA and 99.90% of UVB, and has a cumulative SPF of 50+.
The standard guide for labeling of UV-protective textiles (ASTM D6603) shows the following protection categories:
Good UV Protection 15-24
Very Good UV Protection 25-39
Excellent UV Protection 40 or More
* Note - Ultraviolet Light Warning: All tents, canopies, screen houses etc. that Family Tent Camping sells are intended for occasional use and not for permanent or season-long use. Continuous exposure will result in damage from Ultraviolet Light. UV damage is not covered by the manufacturer's warranty.
